We do not assume any DevOps knowledge for the course, we teach you enough DevOps that you will be very comfortable taking the course.

What is the price for DevSecOps Architect?
Certified DevSecOps Architect course is only offered as part of Blackhat/Brucon/AppSec conferences.
The price varies as per the conference organizer policies. Please refer to the respective conference pages for pricing details.

Do you offer discounts?
Yes, we do provide corporate discounts for group bookings. You can find more details about it below.
05 – 10 students: 10% discount
11 – 20 students: 15% discount
21 or more students: 20% discount
Course Content and Lab Access
How long can I access the videos and Labs?
You will have 3 years access to the course videos from the course start date and 30/60* days of labs access depending on which course you enroll into.
CCSE comes with 30 days and CTMP courses come with 60 Days of lab access.
Can I extend my lab time?
Sure, You can extend the lab access using our lab extension page at https://www.practical-devsecops.com/lab-extension/.
Can I start my lab access after I finish the course videos?
Unfortunately, course material and lab are tied together and can’t be issued separately.
Are the videos online or can they be exported? is there an app version of this as well?
Yes, all videos are online and you have 3 years of access to them however you can not export/download them to your local machine. You can make use of course guides and lab manuals for local access.
Yes, there is an app for you to view these videos on the go.
Exam and Certification process
What to expect in the exam and certification process?
Our certification exams are online, scenario based, open book exams. You can read more about the certification process at https://www.practical-devsecops.com/exam-and-certification/
What is the deadline to clear the exam?
For instance, if you commence your course and associated labs on January 1st, you’ll have access to the labs until March 1st, given the allocated 60 days. Additionally, from your course start date, you’ll have until August 31st to complete your examination. However, please note that your exam voucher will expire post this date.
Is it a proctored exam in a specific exam center?
Nope, it’s an online exam. However, we might ask you to show us around the room (Before/During/After the exam).
When will I receive my exam challenge details?
You will receive your exam challenge details 10 minutes prior to the scheduled exam time.
What's the format of the exam/duration of the exam/is it practical or MCQ?
Our exams are task-oriented and duration depends on which certification exam you are attempting. You can find more about the exam process and specific certifications in the link below.
Can the exam be rescheduled?
Yes, of course. You can reschedule the exam before 48 hours of the original schedule.
How many times can I reschedule the exam?
You are allowed to reschedule the exam up to 3 times before 48 hours of the exam schedule.
Will the exam environment be similar to the course labs?
Yes, the exam environment will be similar but not identical to the course labs.
The exam guide will have more information about special cases and deviations.
Would you be providing a sample report for the exam?
Yes, you will receive a sample report as part of the exam guide.
Please use it to submit your exam report.
What is the passing score for the exam?
Do you disclose the exam score?
We do not communicate the exam score. We only communicate whether you passed or failed the exam. However, based on the points allocated to a certain challenge in your exam document, you can arrive at an approximate score depending on the tasks that you have completed. You can also consider partial points for incomplete challenges.
What if I fail the exam?
Can I retake the exam?

Retake fee for each additional attempt is USD 100

Is there a limit on exam re-attempts?
No,
You can attempt the exam as many times as you wish however there should be at least 15 days gap between exams.
